Terms of Use

Last updated 19 September 2026. By using Planr.ai you agree to these terms. They are written to be readable; nothing here is hidden in the fine print.

1. The service

Planr.ai helps you organise schoolwork and turn your own course material into study guides, flashcards, practice tests and lecture notes. It is published by Planr.ai.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Planr.ai only with the involvement of a parent, guardian or school.

3. Your content

Everything you upload, record, type or generate is yours. We claim no ownership of it. You grant us only the narrow, temporary permission needed to process the text you explicitly submit for an AI result and return that result to you.

Only upload material you have the right to use. Do not upload copyrighted textbooks, exam papers or other material you are not permitted to copy.

4. Academic honesty

Planr.ai is a study tool, not a way to have work done for you. Using it to complete graded work that is supposed to be your own, to submit AI-written text as your own, or to obtain answers during an exam is a misuse of the service and is very likely a violation of your school's academic integrity policy. Those consequences are yours, not ours. Know your institution's rules before you use any AI tool for coursework.

5. AI results can be wrong

Study guides, flashcards, practice questions, explanations and lecture notes are generated automatically and may contain mistakes, omissions or misreadings of your source material — including confident-sounding ones. Check anything that matters against your actual course material before you rely on it for a test. Planr.ai is not a substitute for your teacher, your textbook, or professional advice of any kind.

6. Subscriptions

Planr.ai is free to use, supported by advertising, with monthly allowances on the AI-powered features. Two paid plans raise those allowances and reduce or remove ads:

• Pro — $6.99 per month or $54.99 per year. Far fewer ads.
• Exclusive — $14.99 per month or $119.99 per year. No ads.

Paid plans carry a monthly allowance rather than unlimited use. The current allowance for each plan is shown on the pricing page and your usage is shown in Settings. We will tell you before reducing an allowance on a plan you already pay for.

• Purchases made in the iOS or Android app are billed by Apple or Google to the account you bought with, not by us.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
• You can cancel or manage the subscription any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Any free trial (7 days) ends immediately if you purchase a subscription during it. Unused trial time is forfeited.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. We cannot issue refunds for purchases made through their stores.
• If we change the price, we will tell you before it takes effect and you may cancel.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Planr.ai for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm anyone;
• attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service;
• resell, sublicense or redistribute the service or its output as your own product;
• use automated means to extract the service's functionality in bulk.

8. Your data is on your device

Planr.ai stores your work locally. We do not hold a backup and cannot restore your data if you delete the app, reset the app, or lose the device. Export a backup from Settings if your work matters to you.

9. Third-party platforms

Connecting Schoology, Canvas, Google Classroom, Blackboard or any calendar feed is subject to that provider's own terms. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any of them, and we are not responsible for changes they make that break syncing.

10. Availability

We aim to keep Planr.ai running but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. AI features depend on a third-party provider and may be slower or unavailable at times; the app falls back to its on-device engine when that happens.

11. Disclaimer and liability

Planr.ai is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for academic outcomes, missed deadlines or grades. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

12. Ending your use

You can stop using Planr.ai at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change and material updates will be surfaced in the app. Continuing to use Planr.ai after that means you accept the new terms.

14. Governing law

The governing jurisdiction will be confirmed here before public release.
